This was great - it was both a great refresher of some of the material in The Oxygen Advantage and learned so much about the best way to start incorporating more nasal breathing safely into my workouts.

Fabulous and enlightening interview! I was curious about the reported increased mucous Dr. Dallam experienced for a time. I suggest that nasal breathing allows the body to be rid of waste that isn't released with chronic mouth breathing. It would be worthy of a study. Thanks, Patrick

Dr Dallam said he used a neti pot to clear his sinuses. What is Patrick's opinion on nasal pots for chronic sinusitis?

Does nasal breathing increase your oxygen compared to mouth breathing? The science is a little over my head. Anything that makes sleeping at night with mouth tape better then mouth breathing? Nasal breathing does increase nitrate oxide?
