Thanks for the unboxing video! We appreciate it. Regarding heat, its normal for an 8TB NVMe SSD to get hot after extended use. Our aluminum housing acts as a heatsink to absorb heat from the internal NVMe. If the housing was made of plastic (as some competitors) the drive would feel cooler to the touch, but the heat is trapped inside the housing causing poor performance and potential damage to the NVMe. For this reason, we use thick aluminum core plating, which is also the reason it weighs more than competitors. Thanks again for taking the time on this. - Oyen Digital

Not much I can add right now. I've been using it consistently for a few weeks editing a feature documentary and I've had no real issues with it besides it getting a bit hot after a few hours of use. If you need 8TB of SSD that you can edit on, I currently recommend this product for now.
