UNE Experience Day - THEATRE STUDIES
The day started with hands-on workshops and practical sessions on drama skills before they went on to visit to the theatre studies rooms and the Arts Theatre. After a delicious lunch and a discussion about the options in theatre studies, it connection to history and current events the group worked on play building through the work of two Indigenous playwrights.
The Oorala Youth Program runs UNE Experience Days to assist Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students in Years 10-12 to find out what university life and study is like.
