These Oyster Sauce Chicken thighs could be the quickest recipe for the dinner to satisfy your unexpected guests!
Best served with rice varieties, but this dish definitely goes along with noodles and bread too.
Try this sweet, yet lightly spicy chicken that looks so appetizing as it is glazed with Oyster sauce and Soy sauce.

▶️Ingredients:
1) 230g Boneless Chicken Thighs with skin
2) 2 Medium size red onions, cut into wedges (Can be replaced with yellow onions)
3) 2-3 Dried chilli
4) 4 Cloves of thinly sliced garlic
5) 2 Stalks of spring onion
6) 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce: amzn.to/3rxc4fR
7) 1 Tbsp Dark soy sauce
8) 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce: amzn.to/3xJlDwd
9) 1 Tsp Sugar: amzn.to/3OK8RDE
10) 4 Tbsp Chinese white rice wine (Can be replaced with water): amzn.to/493vPPj
11) White Pepper Powder: amzn.to/3HrIfVu
12) 1 Tsp Corn starch: amzn.to/3knoB1m
13) 1 1/2 Tbsp water for mixing the cornstarch
▶️Cooking method
1) Heat a pan on medium flame and add a dash of cooking oil
2) Add chicken. Cook until it is brown. Turn sides and cook evenly.
3) Once the chicken has browned add onion and dried chillies.
4) Saute until the onions are tender.
5) Add garlic and stalks of spring onion. Mix well.
6) Add oyster sauce, dark soy sauce and light soy sauce.
7) Mix all ingredients well.
8) Add sugar and mix.
9) Pour Chinese white rice wine and mix.
10) Add a pinch of white pepper powder.
11) To make corn starch solution: Take 1 tsp of cornstarch and mix it with 1 1/2 tbsp water.
12) Pour the cornstarch solution into the chicken to thicken the sauce.
13) Finally add the rest of the spring onion.
14) Mix well and turn off the flame.
