The old VA cheated on his wife and slept with his fans. He's got roles in many games and his misbehavior wasn't tolerated by fans and players, so many of his roles went to other VAs. Oz is just one of them.

I thing the biggest issue is not only that he cheated, but he also used the characters he acted in other game as a bait to lure the younger players into it...if it is only cheating with fans, it is surely disgusting, but won't necessarily affect the reputation of the characters and games, but he used the characters, thus the reputation of the games would be affected by his personally action.

😭I didn't know he did this, glad he is getting replaced then, I just thought there was some issue with him and mihoyo like he broke a contract or wanted more money(in acting they will fire actors if they want too much of a raise so I figured maybe works the same with VA)

when i first heard the new voice i was surprised how close they managed to get it to the original! a lot of the lines aren't one-for-one to the old ones, different stress/emotion/duration etc, and it'll take some getting used to, but i really enjoy zhao yuecheng's voice and his acting is great despite him apparently not having extensive VA experience the casters did a great job in a pinch finding someone with the right pitch and voice quality, and hopefully now fischl can appear in events again haha

Nothing in the comment implied that they are saying the bird is romantic to fischl, and it very clearly was just about them liking the new VA's voice and how it sounds romantic. I like Zhao Yuecheng's voice more. Especially with the last comparison. He expresses so much respect and concern towards Fischl as he should be! I felt his smile after saying the the last line.

I really liked the Li YuanTao's voice acting, especially during conversations with Fischl, but, unfortunately, that's how it is... But in the end of the day Zhao YueCheng did a great job for new voice lines! 💖💖💖

I’d say even though the older one (Li YuanTao) has like more emotions on it, but the new one (Zhao YueCheng) did a good job to be as close (but not necessarily accurate) to the original Oz (makes sense cuz he’s an actor, not a voice actor). Also, YueCheng’s voice is deep as heck, I’m guessing some people might start [redacted] over it 😏

Ive said this before in another video: New VA sounds emotionless, but he does sounds just as good as the old one. Kudos to Zhao! I still gotta get used to it because it still has a shock feeling to me hehe

I'm loving the new voice~! He just needs a bit of improvement on being enthusiastic (?) in his battle voice lines. I know he's just an actor not a voice actor. It’s a bit weird listening to it, after all I’ve used Fischl in my main team before and heard Oz’s lines multiple times. Although I’ve long since swapped her with Raiden, it’s still hard to get used to Zhao’s voice when I listen to her voicelines. Still, Zhao did a good job, almost as similar as the last although some lines that still lacked the right emotion~

Wow Zhao Yuecheng? He is a very Handsome man and has a Handsome Voice, if I'm not wrong he acted as Secretary Hu in The Last Visa, which Btw it's very good Drama go watch it, as well as Past Days in Shanghai. Hoyoverse's decision in casting him, was quick and swift, really proud of them.

I know people are probably gonna hate me for this, but I think it's undeniable that Li YuanTao is the better voice actor (I mean Zhao YueCheng isn't even one to begin with). The delivery to the emotions are quite a bit better in the older version. It's such a shame that he used his amazing talent for such disgusting acts.

Their voices actually sound pretty similar though, so I suspect they went in a different direction on purpose with new Oz to get away/distance from the old va. Idk. The new one sounded emotionless and monotonous for the Skill lines, and then sound like he was trying to seduce fischl during their convo lines with those certain 重音 and the more breathy voice. A bit 油腻. The old one's convo lines were more monotonous/nonchalant, which i feel adds to the comedic effect since fischl is quite funny as a character.
