Looks like Jeff was watching the Lakers on TV while soloing. Yeah, man.

Came for the drums and as a guitar player I stayed for the drums.

Interesting how you actually can hear that Oz is mostly a straight player and Dave and Jeff come more from the Triplet feel. To me it seems like neither Jeff nor Oz struggle to be themself during the Guitar solo. Dave is connecting great to Jeff during Pianosolo and Jeffs solo after trades is just insane. So to say, 2 Worlds clashing, hosted by the Gen(i)us. But where worlds clash there is so much potential for new great stuff, so hopefully we see more

Tain never had it so easy. Very Basic Music. You'd never know it from the keyboard player's face. You'd think he was free-climbing El Capitan.

Great comping by David Kickasski. Oz Annoy doesn’t do much for me though

Oh, Jeff... This is painful. In the best way. Ouch. Thank you... The right drums, the right note durations, fade characteristics - my heart, soul and brain are bleeding. But it's perfectly okay - thank you for this...

that was cool when the bass player drank some beer during the drum solo

I sat 2 seats to the left at the 55 bar, right in front of David in Dec 21, with the same lineup but had Lenny White on drums. Absolutely Spectacular!

David Kikoski is definitely no slouch either! All of these guys are heavyweights (and their credits reflect this).

If any musicians, who actually know great musicianship, would see this, they would probably burn their respective instrument. I thought I was a guitar player until I seen this. I'm just going to kick back and leave it to players like this who were truly touched by God.

they are amazing but I reckon they would advise you to keep doing what you love :)

Silly comment. Just take Krantz's advice which I paraphrase here: "if someone is doing something amazing, that's great because you don't need to do it yourself, just find a different amazing thing to do"

This is a disaster band. Rhodes player’s comping is mental. Tain and Genus think they’re better than this. Noy is in the middle thinking, what the fuck have a booked.

The keys are FANTASTIC, BTW - keeping it all together, harmonically, and rhythmically, but without getting in the way of the dance that the lead guitar and drums are are wearing out to the point of sleeping together...

Love it . Wish I had been there, used to be a bar tender called Zach ? There in 2002 , he told me he wanted to get into acting or film scripts? I hope his dream became a reality ? Dave kikoski looks like a member of the Rouges ? From the Warriors . But maybe older and rehabilitated and now a successful musician. But the 55 could be near to the Gramercy Riffs turf ?
