I believe it's Lev Koulechov that made the experiment between pictures that Sam Raimi is talking about. Eisenstein definitively took the concept to another level with his theories and ideology of montage in his films. Nevermind, The Evil Dead is one of my favourite movies of all time.

They should do a sequel to the prequel and then a remake of the original oz movie- although it is amazing it would be so much better with the scenery and the cast :) it should properly follow the books

This film kinda trumped every chance of having an adaptation of Gregory Maguire's Wicked any time soon. Which is a real shame because those books are amazing. But I;m still looking forward to this one though.
