Another very nice adventure and video. Have a safe trip to the AT. Treat all of your gear and clothes with Permethrin just before you head out. The ticks are very dangerous. My wife died from a tick bite(anaplasmosis) 4 years ago. Many people get sick and damaged by the diseases. Be Prepared. Have fun. Good Luck, Rick

Come on back to AR and hike the 223 mile Ouachita Trail, which has a terminus in SE OK and another at Pinnacle Mountain SP west of Little Rock.

The pretty trees you saw on this hike were redbud trees. They are beautiful in the early spring.

I can’t remember exactly but it was probably shortly after breakfast, so maybe around 8:00 or 9:00am.
