I had that same Ozark Trial rod. It was great until it snapped on a 4 pounder. Ozark Trail is a subsidiary of Walmart. When I reached out to Ozark Trail there contact information is inactive and Walmart just gave me a full refund because I got the $4 protection. Keep up the great content. Let’s Go!!

The Ozark trail OTX baitcaster reel with 8 bearing I got just the reel is the best reel for the price point... Put it on a UGLY Stick catfish medium heavy powder moderate action rod is my favorite combo so far in price point. It will look down Bass and catfish for me is been my go to lately. Even having a lot of rods I still go back to the big ugly catfish rod. Next will be ugly stick stripper rod has a different flexibility on it.

Everyone needs to learn both ways to fish left or right hand. Is getting better what I've been seeing. Me learn last year got two right hand and two left hand baitcaster reel. I should dune this year's ago tried it at least for a trip. Ozark trail OTX baitcaster reel is sooper smooth reel just keep the dirt out it will last years. And not expensive to get another one if it broke down on you.
