Owned this combo for about 3 weeks. Just got back into fishing a few weeks ago, probably caught about 30 bass with this setup from .05 lbs to around 6 six not problems so far. A fish snapped my line on my first day using it. Replaced with better line and have had zero problems other than a tangle since then. Upgrading to abu garcia vengeance combo. This setup served me well.

I actually just picked this combo up my only negative thing about it is the drag system... you have to keep the drag to max tighten if you back it off a little you can just pull the line with ease... I'm gonna put a different reel on mine

This is a nice combo for $10 and orange my son just got one and is nice with new 8 lbs line monofilament and it casts nice with light bait to 1/2 once lures is best for the rod my son told me. He has got 15 inch bass with no problem. I've seen I've been waiting one for the car combo 🎣 and orange good reviews but want to see it work not just 4 inch fish. I would like to see bass on it 👊🏼

You can catch fish on a handline. If I want to go cheap just go to Walmart by a spool of zebco line $1.79 some hook & sinker or some jighead combos have at it
