Yes sir...the kee kee is way overlooked in the spring. I use it almost every hunt. Don't usually go on a full run with it but a lot of times throw in 2 note kee kees. Them old toms love to eat that up as well. By the way...that was a very well done podcast gentleman. Very informative.

Called in a jake on my very first turkey hunt last fall with a kee kee responding back to its kee kee. It ran right to me, 10 or 15 yards away right in the clearing I sat in front of. Decided to let him go since our population in san diego isn't great. So only taking long beards. That experience got me hooked tho 😅
