Great RITO recap! We bailed on Saturday Night since we had a 8+ hour drive back to Iowa. Stayed in Rodgers and checked out the War Eagle Mill craft fair on Sunday. We stumbled upon the War Eagle Mill on the way down Wednesday. Pretty cool bridge to just find in the middle of nowhere. Our second RITO and definitely my favorite event. Mulberry Mountain is a great place to have it.

Expected that we go into a 3rd straight winter as a La Nina system. Only the 2nd or 3rd time in recorded history it's happened. So, unfortunately us is the south and southwest are expected to have another dry spell and continued drought. Really sucks

Hi Matt. Thanks for the hours of extremely helpful info on trails in the Ozark forest. We are new and heading out Sunday to the NW region and looking for easier trails less mud and some not so crazy obstacles. If you could make any suggestions it would be more than appreciated. Currently watching your GAIA vids and getting used to trying to compare to MVUM. It's tricky at first eh? I just did a 3" lift and 33" on our FJ. Could NOT ask for a better video tour guide of the area!!

Head to the White Rock Mounting area. It's close to NWA and should be beautiful.

Can you tell me if you had to do anything special to fit the awning along with the skycamp mini to avoid interference when the tent opens? I have a similar set up on order with the pioneer platform. Wondering what to expect. Thx. Love your rig and enjoy the videos. Keep ‘em coming!
@OzarkOverlandAdventures Жыл бұрын
Nothing special other than mounting it as low as I could to allow the tent to fold open.

No wonder no one bother to mount a pair of maxtrax. The ozark is bone dry this time of the year.
@OzarkOverlandAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Even when it's wet and muddy we don't use maxtrax. We have trees to winch from. Save the maxtrax for sand where there's no trees.
@laloolhouvum16342 жыл бұрын
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures i got your point. However tracks and places we go for adventure maxtrax is a must have atleast 2, cuz we used them for leveling tight trails for big and tall rigs, it's handy for smaller rigs or even mid-sized utes runing 31s/33s tyres. With Hilux, Mitsubishi Triton, Amarok BT-50, ISUZU-DMAX being an IFS 32/33s tyres are best. It's expensive, Challenging and overkill fitting 35s in mid-sized utes.
