I love what you said at the 5 min mark. Totally true. This is actually what one of the Filipino coach said in his interview. You put up an elbow like that on an opposing player, whether you be in China, Korea, Japan or elsewhere, you'd get the same reaction...a full blown fight that is. They're lucky 22000 fans didn't join the melee. You don't instigate stupid things when you're in a foreign country and surrounded by locals. Just plain stupidity and it's like signing your deathwish.

1. Aus team has been disrespecting the home court by removing ad stickers on court. 2. On warm-ups Aus team has been throwing racist comments to the PH team. 3. On the highlighted video, PH player made a "technical foul" and ended that moment but Kickert use the elbow that started the brawl. Brawl is not the answer to settle that scene but for me it shows how Filipinos will not settle for being bullied anymore.

Ol Saint Lit The initial hit was not a flop, it was an elbow to the jaw. There is no way the Australian player reacted and was able to move his head that fast. Also, he is knocked out on the ground. If you've ever watched any MMA you will recognise that reaction. Especially when he gets up so fast after he comes to. The hands up and head up slightly is a natural defensive position that happens when you get knocked out by a punch or elbow to the jaw. Obviously the Aussie who flew the elbow to the face saw the elbow to the jaw.

Platypus Ben Filipinos been known as kind and happy people. Never start a fight or go everboard unless something is really wrong. I wasn't there so i don't know but as a Filipino when you come about our race that we are so proud of, you will get something. It is ok once we will understand but do it more and we have a problem. Not one player stated racist terms were thrown and people noticed the problem even before the game begun. We live in a world where people always ask evidence, a digital age and not having the exact words in video doesn't excuse the aussie who said it. The thing is us Australian's have been acknowledging Kickert's actions as wrong and expect him to be sanctioned hard. I'm still impartial about Maker, I think he should be punished however his actions were in defence of his teammates being mobbed whereas Kickert just should not have gone in with that elbow. It was between Goulding and Pogoy where I have to say there was no escalation from either of those players once Goulding hit the floor. So many people to blame for how that brawl escalated starting with the refs, moving on to the officials for not making sure the players were remaining disciplined, then the players for not keeping their cool and leaving the bench, then security for not doing their bloody job properly. It is a massive security breach.

Thanks, for a fair assessment. In full disclosure, I am a Filipino but the first time I saw a segment of that brawl, my first reaction was shame. I mean, we're the host and we should never do that to guest teams. How would we (Filipinos) feel if that happened to our team on an away game? After watching the whole game and reading about what happened before and during the game. I still say it was bad form for both teams but I'm sure fans of both teams can get past this.
