0:00 The two words and laugh that saved a man's career. 0:16 The riff that made Randy Rhoads a legend.
@metalmike570
@metalmike570 3 жыл бұрын
Of course, almost every song of the Randy albums can leave an impression on you. I would say the entire albums are what made him a legend; just a monster guitarist and writer. And he preferred just to be a guitar teacher than a rock star. Fact: He was going back to being a classical guitar student at a music college so that he would be an even better player and a teacher. He loved teaching the guitar.

It is obvious how amazing Randy Rhodes guitar work is on this track. But what often gets overlooked is how brilliant that Ozzy is as a lyricist. People often make fun of Ozzy and his incoherent manner of speaking, but if you really take time to read the lyrics that he's written through the years you can truly appreciate the depth and genius of his work as a song writer and poet. That aspect of his talent, in my opinion, has been grossly overlooked.

Only now, with the 2011 reissues of the albums have the original versions been restored. “I’m glad about that,” Ozzy says. “I don’t give a fuck if you’ve got Jesus Christ and Moses playing bass and drums, it ain’t the same.”

@@pangurbok3686 I went out of my way looking for the 1995 remasters because I couldn't stand those early 2000's remix and remasters with different bass and drums.
