Ozzy Osbourne interviewed by Mick Wall for the pre-show broadcast of the Moscow Peace Festival, this was only shown in the UK. I recorded the full festival on a Sony C9 betamax stereo VCR connected to a satellite receiver via stereo audio cables and BNC video cable. Tape used was a brand new Scotch EG+ L750

I always found it interesting that Ozzy spoke completely without a stutter or slurred speech all the way until the very late 1980's and then as soon as the 1990's hit (around 1991), he started stuttering (slightly) and his speech became slightly slurred. It obviously got much worse as time went on, but all the way up until 1989, his speech was clear and stutter free. I wonder what happened in 1990/1991?

Im not sure why people cant understand ozzy. Its not mumbling actually. Its a legit accent. On the other hand, i live in a region people tend to not understand him....or me...cuz they trip over my accent. For the record, if you cant understand someone, it may just be you, not them.

The other Sabbath members are brummies like him but I can understand them very well. Ozzy has a very thick accent but also stutters. His stuttering is more evident since the mid 90's. Since then it's hard to understand him, at least for me.
