You are right about it being a disingenuous album and Sharon being the one running things. However, judging ONLY by the songs and not how it was created, I love it and think it's the most memorable Ozzy album since No More Tears or Ozzmosis. I respect your opinion and thanks for the review Dr. Fukk. I would love for Ozzy to relax and enjoy the rest of his life.

If Ozzy was just sitting back and didn’t do this album, then people would be complaining that Sharon is not letting Ozzy do anymore music.

To me once Bob Daisley stopped helping write songs it was over (last one No Rest For The Wicked), other than a few scattered tracks like No More Tears

Thanx for suffering for us to give us this long awaited review. Several channels have had positive things to say about the album so I guess I’ll just have to check it out myself. At least this this album is at least a slightly better ‘swan song’ than Ordinary Man.

I can't say I am a hardcore Ozzy fan. I just know the classics. 'No More Tears' was the last song I heard of his that I liked. But, what you say in this vid is loud and clear, especially the end to this video. That sentiment said it all. Thanks, Ralph.

Y'all are crazy, man, this album is amazing! "Nothing Feels Right" is epic, the Iommi tracks are better than most of 13, and there are a lot of fresh ideas like the Clapton track, title track and even the stuff that doesn't necessarily stand out is better than usual.

Yeah I feel the exact same, The last good release that has Ozzy on it to me was Sabbaths The End EP that was available on their last tour. Ordinary Man and this one just doesn’t feel right. He should just stop. He should’ve stopped when Sabbaths The End tour finished. Finish where it all began in Birmingham with Sabbath it seemed right that way. This doesn’t. Even the album cover doesn’t look right! Airbrush to the extreme and he looks dead on the cover no matter how hard they try to mask it, Ozzy ain’t there anymore not matter what anyone says
@johnnyringo9759 Жыл бұрын
The working title for this album was "Bowel Movement No. Nine." Ozzy must be in pretty bad shape if they had to digitally process his voice this much in order to make an album!!!

Sharon is a controlling, manipulative force that can't leave well enough alone. Ozzy needs to retire from everything and focus on his health and emotional well-being. Why is Ozzy being tortured like this?

I pretty much agree with what you said. I like the 2 songs with Tony iommi amd that's it. I agree it seems like Sharon just needs more money and it's a shame just let the man retire. I don't see how he's going to go on tour with the condition he's in. It's sad because ozzy is the fucking prince of darkness. But imo his last great album was no more tears. Ozzmosis down to earth and black rain has some good songs after scream I just lost interest. It's funny alot of people think this is one of his best albums smh those people need to go listen to blizzard of ozz or diary of a madman or bark at the moon smh or even no rest for the wicked.

Sharon should put her name on pretty much all Ozzy's albums instead of Ozzy's name because... well... I liked Ozzy and I like him now for his unique voice and his personality but he's never written a song in his entire life. He is fabricated. It has always been about buying songs from someone or making his band write songs, so he could sing them. He's not a creative person, he's never been. For me, there's no real difference between Ozzy and any boys-band with all songs written for them and all theatrics done for them so they could sell their product. This poor man deserved his rest. He has been his wife's marketing puppet for way too long.

Oh Melinda. You should give it a chance. My musical opinions can be so left field to many. You may end up liking it. And I hope you do since you already purchased it. Listen to it on KZbin before you unseal it to make sure. Have a great week!

the live performances he did at the football game and with iommi clearly he is on the lipsync train there is no way he can sound that good still love the ozz forsure but he has nothing to prove and should enjoy the rest of his life mabey do a cruise once a year if he really gets an itch

I really like Ordinary Man and I really dislike Patient Number 9 this new one sounds way more popy to me despite having killer Zakk Wylde solos I think he's the best thing about the album as a whole
@antimurphy82122 жыл бұрын
Despite the harshness, I appreciate your honesty. I think You have a bias against Andrew Watt because he produced Ordinary Man. This album obviously doesn't measure up with classic Ozzy, but it doesn't suck. I've heard worse. Imagine reviewing new albums from Nicklebsck or Bon blow me. Ozzy is 73 going on 74... What were you expecting...Sabbath Bloody Sabbath part 2? Come on Ralph...You're better than that!

Umm....I like that Patient no 9 song , and the one with Iommi was pretty good too. But Ozzy's voice is WAY to Autotuned !
@anonymousamerican45802 жыл бұрын
This album sounds like they used AI to fake an Ozzy voice over the tracks and they produced a bunch of “rock” solos and thought we’d be happy…uh no..sorry, but when you’re looking back at the record Ozzy has…you’re not gonna fool his fan base with a synthetic album. That’s what this album felt like, synthetic.
@markbirchette87402 жыл бұрын
Agreed Ralph, I call it canned 🥫 music in my opinion he should've retired with class like so many others we know. Sharon's greed is disgusting...when is enough enough? She's been set for life for at least a couple of decades. He should be able to enjoy a retirement in his last years. I felt the same about Dio. Is it the English wives? Let the man rest, he's more than earned it!🤘🎸🤘 LISTEN TO BLACK SABBATH DAMN IT!
