There is a good book on the mtn lions of Griffith Park & Santa Monica Mtns. Lots of pictures & all the numbers of each cat. I hope they will get the wildlife corridors built soon. It's been over 10 years.

ALL he wanted was to be left alone!! We tried P-22 & The overpass you were the face of will hopefully prolong the existence of your magnificent species. You were smart enough to avoid vehicle strikes so if I had to guess, You must have had something going on that caused it IF that's what really happened. @@isitoveryet9525 P-22 was neither dying from old age nor from sickness, he was injured by a car and needed to be put out of his misery. All caused by being relocated.

@@m.s.3798 P-22 was never relocated. He was also one of, if not the, oldest wild mountain lions on record and he was suffering from stage 2 kidney failure, advanced heart disease, and arthritis, which were all contributing factors to his more erratic behaviour (he started going after dogs that were being walked by their owners, which he'd never done before, and even scratched one person who tried to protect their dog) and ultimately why he was unable to avoid being struck by the car.

Dislike leaving their cats out you know the homeowners even people in apartments letting their cats out or dogs out to run around without supervision knowing possibly a predator could get them and I'm really surprised at the LA Zoo officials for not realizing that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to think well what happens to this koala at night they already knew it stayed on the ground possibly to be confronted by raccoons that could possibly get in possums that could get in skunks I could get in such stupidity on the zoos staff unbelievable wild animals are never the problem it's always the humans and domesticated animals that are the problems and until people realize that we're going to have continuous situations like this people are the biggest problem in the world. No joke

Nobody tried to help him. Have you got no organisations for the protection of animals at all in your country.
