that engine is "dirt bike" size. I always started my dirt bikes at full throttle. they suck in more air/more fuel

Exactly... it's a "rich" misfire, but still a misfire that can be controlled by better mixture distribution. Running rich always provides less power and washes the walls with additional fuel (even if it does have some oil in the fuel). These expensive engines should not misfire so often and expectantly. They should run smoothly and evenly for my money.

You know nothing of the combustion engine. Youre hearing a loping camshaft and multi inline cylinder aluminum engine with forged pistons and short header only exhausts. What youre hearing is a fine tuned ferrari and what you are used to is single cylinder chinese pot garbage. Mass produced in sweat shops. Assuming your experience with giant scale is DLE.

A loping cam is ONLY heard when at or near idle, NOT during acceleration. These Kolms misfire just about every time they accelerate from an idle to full power, until they finally clear out. Maybe fuel injection is the answer. A "fine tuned Ferrari"... not even close bud. Maybe a Ferrari with terribly fouled plugs. And what the hell is "chinese pot garbage" ??? Sounds like something a small child would think of… As to my "Giant Scale" engine experience? How about 30+ years of building Small Block Chevy (SBC) and BLOWN Big Block Chevy (BBC) racing engines, outboard 2-Stroke racing engines (Suzuki 3-cyl & V6 engines), multiple motorcycle racing engines (Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki Ducati, Aprilia), as well as several full scale helicopter Turbine engines (Allison, Sunstrand, Turbomach). Should I continue? How about USA FAA Commercial Aircraft Ratings, including Single Engine, Multi Engine, Sea Plane and Rotorcraft ratings. PLUS, CFI Instructor ratings. Then... I've owned, flew and maintained my own Bell "206B3" JetRanger Helicopter with an Allison C20B, 420SHP turbine engine... as well as built many TurboProp (turbine) engines for the Homebuilt aviation community. Yeah... I certainly don't know much about engines at all. But I DO know when I hear these Kolm engines failing to fire on all cylinders until at full RPM. What a total DA KrotchCumSucker....

High speed throttle needs serious adjustment it's very rough and from what I heard it isn't a constant smooth rev there's Idle speed and there's high speed you didn't have either!!

I spoke with one of the investigators of the crash, I live less than 5 miles from the reno-stead airport. Cool model, but perhaps should be repainted and renamed Strega..
