As an electrician back in the 60's l was once called out to a naval establishment situation where a plumber had cut into a un-PVC sheathed MICC cable mistaking it for a 15 mm cold water supply pipe. It was in fact the electrical supply cable for the kitchen area, there was not much left of his hack blade but at least he survived to tell the tale even if the cooked meals were a little late coming that day. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

I've recently had a comi boiler fitted upstairs from what was a floor standing boiler situated in my kitchen. The plumber has done a great job ! my only concern is he's run the new gas supply to the new boiler and has used soldered joints except where he's used a compression fitting approx 8"" just before the gas meter . Is it OK to use compression fittings on a 22mm gas pipe ? I'm guessing he didn't want to be soldering so close to the meter .

Nice Vid Pete Thx! You can use the "SpiroCombi MB3 -Brass -Magnet -Uni" wich has both Magnet and Air seperator in one unit so it saves you to fiddle arround on two pipes. Keep up the good work ;)

What flux do you recommend, been using Laco for a couple of years, buy thinking of a change. Used to use powerflow? Laco dose seem to give that finger print touch to all the pipes?

Not that picky on trousers, If you did your research Snicker trousers are from Sweden, and Snicker translates to Carpenter 🤔. But they are great work trousers and very common in Sweden.
