As a Viessmann sales manager on the west coast of Canada I do have to say that is one of the best descriptions of how a Vitodens 222 functions. I am just about to fit one in my own home. Keep up the videos! I wish to see more of the old school methods you use, especially soldering. It is a dying art and your joints are near perfect! No over fill, no heat streaks and properly cleaned after filling. As far as pipe work goes it is top notch!

Looking for house numbers in the daylight is bad enough! Sometime in the last few years it must have become unfashionable to put a number on your house. My favourite is when you drive past about 10 houses with no number on them and have to drive along counting in your head 😡 😡 rant over 😅 great video as usual. 👌🏻

Great vid PB 👍😁 there's always something in there that's a great tip, even in the "fucked up" sections ! Apart from showing that not all jobs go to plan, there's lessons there too.. like how your mate cracked the inner heating coil upstairs on the immersion when emptying down 🤔. And, the leaky loose tap find 😁 Keep doing what you're doing .. one vid a week is fine and add in any tool advise you think help with your work. I cant believe how many times I've used my olive splitter since i got it, thanks to you 🤣

I found your channel last week and been watch a new video every night, I find it interesting as I only install combi and system boilers mainly on site. Would love to attempt to install a floor standing boiler or any other kind of fuel boiler instead of gas. I’ve picked up a few tricks off you and learning about fault finding on boiler of your video. When i saw the upstairs leak it reminded me of my own house. The water came out in the kitchen thought the ceiling. There was no leak in the bathroom above. However. I felt damp in the cold pipe under the bath, It seems when you turned the bath tap off it failed to shut done fully, the water dribbled out the tap hole and ran back to the base of the tap and via the pipe built upon the floor up and eventually found its way out into kitchen via the ceiling. Replaced the tap and end of the problem. As it turned out a ring around the tap exit had gone missing, That ring was meant to stop the water running back down to the tap base!

Just a quick one, with this night time leak, I had something similar, water pissing out of roof space above the bathroom, took a look up in the loft, the F&E tank support had broken, it fell into the main tank, as it was continually emptying, it was continually be re-filled, causing an over flow, just propped it up. This was the quickest way as the stop cock was impossible to get to.

No house numbers? I was once asked if there were any special instructions for a delivery driver, I replied "tell the driver when he gets on to the A** keep going until he has crossed two cattle grids, then I'm the first property on the left after the field of sheep". When the driver arrived he told me he thought the girl in the office was taking the piss, but he actually found me first try! I owned the sheep, so I knew where they would be! 😊

Glowworm boiler by any chance that wouldn't come back on? If so, dead PCB can be revived by changing a couple of capacitor's on the PCB. Happened to me on a landlords inspection, being faced with £200 bill for new PCB or £2 bill and 10 mins with a soldering iron the second option saved the day!

Btw, a trick to get the old immerser out is use your leg strength instead of hammer, place immersion spanner on , and use your leg to push so far 100% success rate

Terrific videos as always. Only three days ago I changed two immersions on a similar cylinder, but I had drained the cylinder before I whacked the immersion spanner with a lump hammer to loosen the immersions. I've done this loads of times. Was I just lucky?

That last job with the leak through ceiling. If you were called back and it wasn't that tap that was causing it after all would you charge them again for a second investigation? What if you had to lift floors etc the second time.
