I was lucky enough to see this trio version of P.J. Harvey twice. They were magnificent.

Rob Ellis rules. Amazing how Nirvana-esque this sounded, especially the solo section of Sheela. Bassist looks like he wishes he was somewhere else.

Bassist is excellent though.

No doubt he has a good time gettin' it. Shows and it is contagious for sure.

Yeah, she got rid of them and they were a brilliant power trio! The drummer was good and even sang backup vocals well! Now she plays with some orchestra or something. And I no longer care.

Sure this wasn’t 1992? Would be weird for them to be promoting Sheela on MTV in 1993. Highway was being performed all the time in 92 even though it wouldn’t be released on their album til the next year.

Have you treated yourself to some Sleater/Kinney? Pull S/K up on KZbin. Two female guitar/singers with a KA drummer and a hired gun on keyboards. That's right, no bass. But that is NOT a problem.
