This song inspired us all in the dark days of 1993 when it seemed we were on the edge of a race and ethnic war ,to cross over that divide. It deserves more recognition as symbolic of Mandela's vision. .

This was and still is a prophetic song. Considering the fact that it was sung in the darkest times of apartheid, the time in which normal thinking would not for see the fall of the monster, but surely the answer came as PJ Powers has prophesied. One is wonders how she was able to identify her self with the blacks at that time?
