Please please please keep this podcast coming out ! I have no idea why/how but your podcast is the first that i ACTUALLY understand, and can learn from. I've been searching for podcasts and they are either too easy (way to slowly speaking, or making way too beginner sentences) or are advertised as beginner friendly and they don't care about their choice of words at all. You are just perfect somehow. Sorry for this long comment, but I just magically understood you speaking, meanwhile not understanding others :D

@@smile-gk7ws When I learn a new kanji I usually learn one or at most two words with it. When you encounter a new word that you already know the kanji of you learn the reading with it. For example: You learn 日 ひ day. You memorise the stroke order and the kanji's main associated meaning: day/sun. When you learn about 日曜日 にちようび Sunday you'll learn other readings with it. I don't think that individually learning the readings is worth at all, you won't get far that way, also as you suggested you might not know which reading to choose. Learn to read the words, and learn the kanjis if you want to be able to handwrite them.
