that was really fast work!! I just had my engine finally repairs done yesterday. tested n clean up the engine compartment today.. taking it out tomorrow and will have to run in the engine and hope nothing goes wrong.. Was the red paint antifoul or just normal boat paint? Prop n prop shaft also the same type of paint or was it the US made Propspeed for propellors?

(@ ̄□ ̄@;)!!Engin repair!!I think you needed a lot of money to do it (;'∀')。。。All paints are made in Japan. In Japan, paints used on ships are strictly regulated. Therefore, paints containing harmful substances such as phosphorus cannot be sold. So many barnacles are attached to the boat, but I think it can't be helped.

@@梧桐ゆずりは what about CopperCoat antifouling? It seems a good choice since your boat is always in the water and it has a lot of active organisms so thats why u have so much barnacles. Coppercoat could be a good choice if there is some available at your area. My boat's engine had a crack n leaked seawater into the main engine which mixes the sea water with the oil.. glad it just happened.. so i am hoping the cost is not a bomb. my boat is placed on a dry stack, so it doesnt have any antifouling paint .

There are some technical terms in your comment, so I looked into them, but there are still parts that I can't understand. But I think probably something like this . ⇒ Contains a little anti-smudge component. The ingredients are only those approved by the government. I couldn't understand “CopperCoat antifouling” (T_T)

@@梧桐ゆずりは www.copperantifouling.com/copper/ its the use of copper in the paint for the hull. some countries approved the usage, some countries dont. I am not sure what are the regulations at Japan when it comes to Hull paint or we call it antifoul paint. copperbased paint last longer than normal antifoul paint and resist growth of marine organisms. i hope this information might be handy to you.

Thank you. I learned a lot. And I examined it in Japan. The paint I used does not seem to contain copper. The paint containing copper seems to be darker.
