盆栽樹種の代表格カエデの冬季剪定をしています。
幹を太らせた盆栽が今の主流ですが、ともすると枝も太ってしまいがち。
やはり落葉後に樹姿を観賞する落葉樹の枝は繊細に作りたいですね。
嫌な枝、間違った枝をそのままにしても、結局後日それを取り除く破目になったりもします。
さあ、落葉した今、丁寧に点検して、間違いがあっれば勇気をもって正しましょう。
さて、動画の後半では、今回も古い黒松を一本改作し、縮小しておきました。

This video introduces winter pruning of kaede maples, a representative bonsai tree species.
Bonsai with thick trunks are the mainstream these days, but because of such values, the branches also tend to become thick.
For deciduous trees whose shape you want to appreciate after the leaves have fallen, you want to make the branches delicate and detailed.
Unwanted or incorrect branches often end up being removed in the future.
Now that the leaves have fallen, it's time to carefully inspect the condition of the tree and have the couage to correct any mistakes.
In the second half of the video, I am working on pruning a black pine to make it smaller.
I would like to see that too.
