I like this project better than Kanashimi. The Romantism in that project can be corny, Samayoi feels like a depressive haiku poem, very poetic and folk japanese in it's instrumentation. Much more straight forward in it's style.

I love Xasthur. But this is Japanese and nuanced in it’s own way, consistent with DSBM, of course. I’d like to hear more bands inspired by Xasthur tho tbh
