I love that Alecia asks her childs permission to talk about her. That shows respect and care for boundaries which will help make her kids better human beings as they get older and follow her lead. Making sure Willow knows she is her own person, not a possession, and can choose for herself what is shared (or not) will only make her stronger and more self certain.

At home, just mum and the kid, that's what a REAL thoughtful Mommy would do. That stupid question "is it ok if I talk about you now" gives No opportunity to honestly say no! Think about it.

I'm responding to your comment based on my own experience: I got a girl pregnant who made way more money than me, so, the deal was I take care of the baby when she returns to work...I'd never held a baby in my life. I credit God's grace and just a great baby son, Ryan. Little things I learned, he had his own bedroom, the very first night we put him down to sleep, he cried for a few hours, I had to prevent my wife from going in, he slept all through the night after that night. Next, never get the hand cranked swing, he will fall asleep, swing stops, crank wakes him up, so, electric swing. Formula in bottle, not cold, not hot, middle of both is perfect. When he takes a nap, I might too. I do recall the first six weeks I was always tired because he'd get up to feed around 2am. Finally, I'm 65, taking care of a baby by myself for 13 hours per day revealed to me how much work it is, making me see my own mom in a brand new light...wow, she did all that for me. Oh yeah, I never bought cheap diapers, it's not worth the reduced price because the quality is inferior. 🤔👋☘️

The show is really turning into a freedom or an art of “it’s just us. Honor this life with me. Celebrate it all with me.” It’s not investigative psychological journalism, however she really wants to always tell a story of ambivalence and where’s the pieces of instruction that can come with it. Drew’s a national treasure!

According to what I saw in her documentary, Pink is an awesome Mum. She's very sensitive to her children's needs, empathetic and respectful. For example when she asks her daughter whether it's okay to talk about her or another example is by not posting every detail of her children's lives (in contrast to many influencer who don't respect the privacy of their kids). What is also important is that she reflects herself instead of copying the mistakes her parents made (which unfortunately many people unconsciously do). No parent needs to be perfect, but I think she's doing a great job 😊 (Btw, I studied Early Childhood Education and worked with kids a lot so I know what I'm talking about 😅)

I never heard anyone else say they begged their parents to divorce until now... When I was 9, I told my guidance counselor in school that my parents need to divorce ... she says to me "OH NO don't say that!" .... made me feel bad but I knew I wasn't wrong. Life became better when they split because there wasn't constant tension in the house or the feeling of walking on eggshells.

I've heard Dr Phil say in the past, it's much better for a child to come from a broken home, than a than stay in a home with parents who have a toxic relationship. Those weren't his exact words, but something close to this. Whatever it takes to make sure our kids grow up with PEACE in their lives, NOT constant TENSION. That's NOT good on anybody!

As an obedient child I have to say no need to encourage the rebellion lol. It will come in it's own form. Also not everybody is naturally contrary or needing the drama we grew up with . She is such an incredible mom. I love my mother so much, but our family does not communicate. My grandfather was a US diplomat so my aunts, uncle and my mom grew up with a lot of money and a very very structred dynamic. Their upbringing was so formal and they always had to keep up public perception as they were representing America overseas. That level of perfection and awareness at all times definitely was passed on to us. I could never imagine my mom telling me to talk back to her just to see how the emotion feels. This is so awesome and amazing how open their family is with eachother. I would never even call my mom if I was having a bad day or was sad. We don't do that in our family
