kijm brooks I can't believe that for some inexplicable reason, I never knew that P!nk did a cover of this song. And you're absolutely right! A couple of spitfires on stage, the both of them. If it were in any way possible to have Freddie back and be able to see them on stage performing together I would give my left arm for it. But knowing that will never happen, I'll just have to be patient and wait til my passing so that I can see them performing in that big stadium in the sky {guess I should start believing in Heaven again, huh? Bette Midler, who Pink is a Huge Fan of, had her backup singers and at least 3 went on (Due to The Divine Miss M) have gone on to be somewhat successful solo artists. One being Melissa Manchester. Katy Sagal (Peggy Bundy who can sing her butt off), & during an impromptu intermission Bette Midler told her Piano Player to fill in for 15-20 minutes. That Pianist is Barry Manilow..

All of you must take into account that Freddie and Queen always rejected the idea of using additional musicians in live concerts. They never thought of the idea of using backing vocals in addition of their own. They wanted to show their unique own power. For this reason they never attempted the full choral intermezzo which they considered as a temporal transition into a full operatic environment outside pop ando rock world. So in that sense. It is beyond comparison if this or any other version which includes live versions of that intermezzo is matched or not. Pink here includes an army or musicians. So no comparison. Her job is great, period.

Not being a fan or a follower of Pink, I have to respect her infinitely for this. As she shows complete respect for Freddie's work. This version is very careful in every way. During the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, Robert Plant (Lynyrd Skynyrd), who is also considered to be up there with Freddie in terms of phenomenal vocalists, said that most of the singers had to change the key of the songs Freddie sang to avoid butchering them, because they couldn't flow between registers like Freddie could. Pink nailed the song in its original key. I'm quite impressed by this performance.

Is there nothing this woman can't sing, from her own songs to covers like this bohemian rhapsody, to time after time where people cannot hep but sing along with her because it is such a well known song thatmtheynjust have to help her along and sing the song wiith her to Janice Joplins songs which no other person can sing Janice's songs better then Pink. To me she will deffinately go down in history as one of the best singers in the world. She is definitely up there with Michael Jacson and Elvis,Presley and the others like Janice Joplin, who would be extremely proud to here the way pink sings her songs. I was in the crowd when she sang condylar paupers song and that woman could not have been Moore proud of pink then if she was up on the stage with her you could tell she loved hearing the crowd sing along with pink when she sang time after time. But even he has said that he respects Pink and the way she sings, if that is not one of the highest praises I don't know what is. Vh1 played this concert about 4 or 5 years ago. They only played about half of what is on the DVD but I saw enough that made me a P!nk fan. When I saw her performance on Sober and Bohemian Rhapsody, I fell in love with her talent. The very next day I went and bought the DVD that came with a CD of this show. As a resident of coastal So. Cal, I've seen Pink (AKA, Alecia Beth Moore) in person occasionally. She and husband Carey have a beautiful home up PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy.) in Santa Barbara County -- north of L.A. Have seen both of them a few times up there - shopping, coffee shops, bike riding, etc. What's great is no one bothers them. Seen her in flats/barfefoot from a few feet away. OMG...she's so tiny in person, 5' - nothing!

P!nk has a phantastic voice - I love her, because she is straight, honest, tough, wonderfull, pretty, cool, outstanding, unconventional - well shortly "P!nk". She surprises me everytime- here again. The original song "Bohemian Rhapsody" came out, as I was teenager . I never thought, that i would like a cover-version of this outstanding, inimitable song. But P!nk managed to do equal to Freddie! This is pretty much impressing!!! Love this song, love P!nk (all of here songs), love here crazy breath-taking acrobatic stunts during her concerts. I'm flashed by her enchanting daughter Willow (also singing superb and doing crazy stunts). Her litte "racker" Jameson is a perfect example for beeing unbiased (stay this way!) - and her husband is damm cool. So: only the best can be expected from this "super-hero-family" :-) Hope to see them all and hear P!nk soon live in Germany again !!!! Stay healthy - stay P!nk :-)

This is the best cover of Bohemian Rhapsody I've ever heard! I've been a P!nk fan for years and a Queen fan, Can you imagine if Freddie was still with us, what these two incredible powerhouses could have created if they could have ever got in the studio together or just a one off performance! I first saw P!nk in a really small venue in Kings Cross in London, she wasn't really known here at the time but a group of us decided to go after work one night, we were all quite literally blown away, the power in her voice was spine tingling just like Freddies was. Two truly brilliant talents that I just don't think we will see again, not in my lifetime I'm anyway!

The pure joy on her face as she sings and dances around the stage interacting with the audience says everything about why this cover of Queen is so good. The only other cover of Bohemian Rhapsody that's on par would be the Muppets.

David F Both Brian May and Robert Plant were impressed by Pink & her band's interpretations of the Queen & Led Zeppelin songs. Pink's vocal range and own artistic expression is also well suited for other Queen classics such as "It's Late" (I would LOVE to hear her cover that one!), "Hammer To Fall", "Save Me" and "Fat Bottomed Girls ;)", whereas she would never be succesful with many other Queen songs. With Zeppelin it would be even harder. The fact that she chose "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" (originally written/performed by Anne Bredon/Joan Baez) shows that she is well aware of that. The amazing Bohemian Rhapsody cover is a complete band effort, and yo can easily tell how much fun the whole band had when they did this complete cover (something Queen never did themselves) of the ultimate Queen classic. But if Pink was ever going to join Queen they should also start producing new material. As Robert Plant has often stated, you stop being relevant as an artist, when you're only repeating yourself. Even established singers tend to underestimate how hard it is to cover the classics properly. Many fall for the tempation and pick a Beatles song - but they usually fail, because their songs sound hollow, if you can't also reinterpret the original energy and passion of those - apparently straightforward and melodic - songs.
