P&O Aurora New Years Cruise to Hamburg.

I started queuing as far back as the arrivals door. It took a while to get into the terminal. A porter told me what was happening when I arrived, but I was disappointed that the captain didn’t even acknowledge the hold-up and perhaps he could have apologised for us having to wait so long.

Queuing for hours? That’s pretty bad that they didn’t even communicate. People could have left and come back! That was nice of Dan! Hamburg looks nice-never been there. That miniature is truly amazing. Great picture of you in your New Year’s finery, and beautiful fireworks!

Hi both, The model cities were impressive, long shot of plane excellent. New year on a cruise looks good ,shame about the delay getting on board ,so disappointing for those who didn't make it onto their cruise. Thanks for sharing.

Great video - we've just had Hamburger taken off our itinerary for next week due to the sunk ship!! Hope we don't have a queue ish embark!!! We love to walk the promenade deck too! Aurora looks like a lovely ship. It looks gorgeous with all the decorations up we think we're going to have to book a different excursion. Were doing Bremen instade! Any tips for Bremen? We've got our wine packed!!! Loved this 🍻

Thanks for watching. In Bremen you may like to see the Cathedral and town hall. There is a science museum called Universum Bremen that might suite you. Or you could visit the nearby towns of Altstadt or Schnoor Viertal

Yes we would but I think we would see in the new year in a different venue.

We were on the previous cruise. Aurora received a battering from the big storm. Winds of around 120 knots that flooded some balcony cabins (including two of our table mates). We were also late off as the area they store baggage was also flooded. It was quite a rollercoaster ride the night of the storm.

@@barnum4244 We were lucky to get on. She is such a wonderful ship. Carmen's was out of action for 2 days. We hit a bad storm in March coming back between Alta and Tromso. But still had a fab time. Thanks for watching
