@@KenGoesCruising We actually discussed this on the way home, 3 nights was a nice taster but not really long enough. Let’s see what next Summers sailings are like. We’ve not tried Arcadia either, would you recommend her to sail on?

@@ALifeintheParks Arcadia has a similar feeling. She has a fantastic pub and theatre but no Andersons. There is a crows nest, Sindhu, ocean grill which is a sort of epicurean. I don't think she is quite as attractive as Aurora and she was in need of a refit which she gets in November this year. The atrium is very plain and a very small cinema on board. They have thermal spa pool on board which is nice but at an extra cost. We are looking to go on Arcadia again. Have you thought of trying Fred Olsen I would like it to P & O 25 years ago and I mean that in a good way things are just a little bit more special on board.

@@KenGoesCruising Many thanks for the advice, great to hear that Arcadia is having a refit. I won’t book until after that’s happened. We very nearly went on the Fred Olsen that you were on in February but we decided on Marella because the weather in the Med would be better. Sadly it rained every day but that’s cruising for you.

We missed a cruise through COVID in 2022 Auroras first cruise after lockdown. I tested positive the day before we sailed. Full refund by the way of FCC in them days. I hope everything works out well for you.

There was an issue with regards insurance requirements during COVID. That seems to have gone away now. I think Bob booked through P & O America.

My wife Teresa is vegetarian. How well does P& O accommodate v’s?

They cater very well for a number of dietary requirements including vegetarians. There are always options on menus in the various eateries.

We have been there a few times now both winter and summer. We enjoyed a visit to the Amsterdam dungeon on one occasion. A was really good fun.

@@EmmaCruises Thanks for watching Emma I think I still prefer the look of Oceania that we tried last year and going back next year.

To be quite honest the ship just felt a bit on the small side. There was nothing that felt or looked wow. I think I would definitely prefer Oceania. However we only had a short visit it's impossible to tell without actually sailing on her.

That's interesting as that was my impression too re Windstar v Oceania

@@lesleywaghorn1627 We do have a ship visit coming soon to Oceania Marina which has recently been refitted. That's the only Oceania contact we will have until our Vista cruise next year.

We had a great time onboard with some great company. The entertainment was great I am sure the other issues will soon be resolved.

We would normally pay around £5-6 for a starter, £6-8 for a main course and £3-4 for a rice dish. The price was not our issue it was the lack of Indian flavours.
