22:00 It was built by 🇪🇪 Estonian archidect(if i remember correctly) with the available materials by Russian gov. order to build it for the Olympics(sailing part). It had a full size skating ring (for all types of skating including the hokey) with thousands of spectators, and a stage with huge(for that time) seating area/viewers. At 90's(there also used to be famous bar/pub) and the 2000's it was used for close to all huge indoor events, these days we have several more options with more spectators therefore this old one was decommissioned.

Thank you for watching, and thank you for all the extra details. It certainly was impressive yet very soviet looking architecture.

05:24 This is the famous million toilet (it cost over a mil to build and was a big scandal).

We are doing that Baltic cruise 1st Sept this year on Britania also. Do you recommend it as a cruise, we've not been to the Baltic before. Great vlogs by the way.

Ah thank you. Yes it’s a great itinerary, we really enjoyed the ports and plenty of sea days. You’ll have a great time!

It’s so interesting how parts of the town center reminded me of when I visited Dubvornik, Croatia and the roof tops of Old Town. However, you couldn’t see the industrial area as close as you guys can there.

We loved the old town area, very nice to look at the history around you. Thankfully inside the town walls the industrial bits have been kept out.

Thank you for sharing your Baltic cruise vlogs. Very helpful to us as we are 16 nights to the Baltic on Aurora later this month. Re. Public toilets ( important if you are out all day!). Do they take euro coins or card. In Norway the public libraries had toilets so we will check out in the Baltic ports too. Do you have any more P&O cruises booked? Thanks again for your entertaining and informative vlogs.

Thank you for your kind comment. 16 nights will be epic. We are on Aurora at the end of August and on Arvia next spring. The Talllinn loo was coins I think, but we tended to head into shops and cafes. There is a free loo down some stairs in the square outside the town hall and Tivoli gardens in Copenhagen. Hope this helps!? 😊
