We are so excited to board Celebrity Silhouette in Southampton in May. We live in Vancouver, Canada so it will be a long journey to Southampton but the end result will be worth it. Thanks again!

Hi have been watching all your videos on Iona as we are going on a cruise on her to Norway in June. It will be our first ever cruise and we are really excited about it. I use a wheelchair so we have booked an accessible balcony cabin. I’ve seen the tours on utube and they look really good. Thanks for your very informative vlogs

Iona is such a brilliant cruise ship and is so accessible. We saw lots of people in wheelchairs and mobility scooters. There is even a lift to the top upper decks so you won’t miss out on anything :)

Would you say that someone could sleep in the conservatory section of the room? In other words, to have like their own bit of privacy from the main room?

Hey Joanne, apologies for the delay. There is a sofa in the conservatory which probably could be used as another sleeping area, there are blackout curtains in the main room so providing there closed the person in the conservatory would have some privacy from the main cabin. Depending on what deck your on, for example 9 and 10, I'd say there will be some privacy. If your on Deck 8, that deck is very close to the main walk around the ship so people could potentially see you in your cabin as their going for a walk. Thanks for watching and commenting. @@HolidayWithTheHeathers thankyou for your swift response. For us, it works out cheaper for the three of us to share a mini suite with the option of using the additional space possibly for sleeping. My daughter said she would never cruise with me and her dad again as we both snore🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣but she agreed to sharing today when we discussed it👍

Great video! Was it noisy being above The Olive Grove and just 1 deck above the promenade deck?

Thank you for your kind comments. It's really appreciated. We didn't hear any noise from those mentioned places. On one or two occasions we heard a few people laughing and giggling while staggering back to their cabin at night in the corridor, But nothing to really complain about. 😀

@@HolidayWithTheHeathers I found out on Friday that we have been moved to a conservatory suite for our cruise in May, very exciting. Ours is a little further back than the cabin you had, we're quite near the Club house
