KZbin finally just recommended one of your videos to me and now I’m hooked. Making my way through each one. I use bead maker as a topper for my adams graphene coating I put on my 2019 Ivory Ram 1500 limited. I always describe it as buttery smooth. It makes the paint feel like silk. You have been a great help. And I have purchased many of the items you showcase. I had a couple questions if you could help me out. Imagine, my car has just been cleaned and detailed. It looks great. I wake up the next morning and a bird took a crap on my hood. What would you recommend to remove stuff like that? Should I still use beadmaker if my new car has had a ceramic coating put on by the dealer? Can I use beadmaker on carbon fiber stripes? What do you recommend to protect the carbon fiber stripes. Sorry for all the questions. I just picked up a new car and want to make sure I do everything as best as possible.
@HawaiiDetailing2 жыл бұрын
For the spot cleaning of bird crap use a no rinse wash in a spray bottle and soak the area and wipe off. Follow up with beadmaker. Beadmaker works really well as a drying aid on a ceramic coating. Do it after each wash to keep that slickness high and the shine high. It will also help with bird crap removal in the future too. It can be used all over the car on the stripes also. Always do a small test spot to make sure there is no undesired outcome. I can’t imagine there would be but I have to say it. I did a video about the no rinse. Check it out.

I agree with a lot of what you said as far as topping type sealant products. My biggest issue with Beadmaker is I find it not even lasting a week...maybe 2 weeks at the very best in the Texas heat. Maybe up North it works better but the durability to me just needs to be a little better than that. If I’m just gonna use a product to top for that extra shine and slickness, I go with Topper from Xtreme Solutions and I even get more durability with Topper. I love P&S products as well and have quite a few, I’ve just grown away from liking Beadmaker but that’s just for me. We all have different likes and needs and nobody necessarily is right or wrong.

Hello. I really loved your review. I am a new owner of a black 4 runner. I normally take my cars to the car wash but I never owned a new one so I am trying to take care of this one my self to make the paint last and look beautiful longer. I am having a very hard time when I wash my car to not let water marks on it 😢 I was wondering if you have any advice on that and if this product will help out with that problem .. I try to clean it half and half but always end up having splashes of the opposite side on my panels .. if anyone has any advise will be good received. Thanks !
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
Try to wash in the shade or just before sunset. Direct sunlight is most of the problem usually. Do you have any form of protection on the paint currently? A ceramic coating is hands down the best protection. It requires a professional paint correction and application. If you do not have or want to apply a ceramic coating I would consider a spray ceramic coating. I made a video about how well these work a few weeks ago. Check that vid out. These are very easy to apply and very affordable. Usually in the $20-$30 range per bottle. They last comfortably about 6 months or so. After that is applied I would use a product like the Beadmaker as a drying aid for each wash. This will reduce surface marring from the drying process. All these steps will seriously reduce water spotting also. I also recommend rinsing the car as often as needed during the process to prevent any water drying on the surface. As your workflow improves you will be able to better manage these steps to prevent the water spots. Look at some of my older how to videos where I am detailing my Tesla. Those steps are the process I use. If you have any other questions let me know. Thanks for watching.

Not a cheap solution but you can look into a water deionizing system. That removes all minerals and dissolved solids from the water and will dry without any water spots whatsoever. Cheers

Does Beadmaker limit/stop the effectiveness of a ceramic coating?
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
No. I think it provides another small sacrificial layer on top that enhances the ceramic coating. Almost like a coating booster. Thanks for watching.

Does bead maker replace wax, or should I also use a wax?
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
Beadmaker is a great drying aid and topper for spray sealants or ceramic coatings. It can stand alone but the durability is short. I would use a spray sealant instead of wax. here are my 2 favorite low cost sprays. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaWaZqR7edRgic0 Than ks for watching

So this is like a substitute for a polish/wax application? Nice product man!!
@HawaiiDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Like a light wax and a drying aid all in one.

Hi. Great videos; i love your channel. Does it make sense to use bead maker on a robot pool cleaner ?
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
Probably not. Not sure that these products will do well with chlorine. thanks for watching

How does this stack up against the new improved turtle wax seal n shine?
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I have used the ICE seal and shine and it has more durability than beadmaker. My favorite part about beadmaker is using it as a drying aid and a topper for a ceramic coating. It’s great for that. It lasts easily til the next wash.

Question do I wash my car first then apply beam maker and then I’m done or wash then apply beam and spray water again to see it works and spray beam on again or just wipe off the water off cus it applied on already

Wash car. spray it on the wet car. Wipe dry and done.
