When Teak explained his mom killing his siblings, everything made sense. No wonder he was crazy as fuck, wanting to fight all of the time. He experienced some real evil at a young age..

This is so much sadder because Big Teak believed in Lil Murda so much. The man had so much faith in him. They both could have gone far if Teak had been able to get some help. Mental health is so important. I love how you start out thinking the show is just about strippers, but you realize it tackles so many important issues along the way. Can't wait for season 3!

Suicide has been on my mind since I was 13. I always thought it wouldn't really be a big deal if I was gone, but this scene here put it into perspective for me of how traumatic it would be for others, and honestly, after watching this show I have no desire to do it anymore.

"NIGGA I SEE IT FOR YOU!!!" Such a powerful and well delivered line for such a powerful scene. IDK how often someone who committed suicide had a friend or family member with them at the time but I would think a line like that would immediately make them change their mind like I thought with this scene. That's why I knew Lil Murda was gonna be a different person after this because of the despair he feels as one often would. "Did he not believe in me? Did he see me as the friend and brother I saw him as? Maybe if I would've kept in contact more often? Maybe if I would've asked him about his childhood before now?" Is all things that would haunt your mind forever

When Murda said, "I SEE IT FOR YOU, NIGGA, I SEE IT!" That shit broke me down. To have someone value your life more than you do, it's...telling. I've struggled with suicidal thoughts since 8th grade, and I've been in the ward for suicide watch. Those who haven't experienced these thoughts never fully realize the despair that people could be in. Then again, those who have experienced it never fully see the impact they have on the lives of those around them. It gets cloudy sometimes.

This episode always trigger me. My husband took his own life in 2016. He was battling depression. The day before he died, he wrote his favorite bible verse down and placed it in his Bible. The next morning he got up for work just like any other morning, but that would be the last time I saw him alive. He took his own life later that day while I was at work. Worst day of my life Feb.08 2016. I'll never forget that phone call from his dad. With in the blink of an eye my life, my kids lives where shattered. I pray his soul is at peace. I will love him always.😢🕊️🙏🙏💔💔

I'm really not trying to be rude and you don't have to answer if you don't want to but may I ask exactly how he did it? Was it a similar fashion to this scene? I had a friend who committed suicide when he found his girlfriend committed suicide. Literally walked in on her body then walked to the roof and jumped off. We said at the time that we believe that if someone else was there with him then it could've been prevented but judging from this scene it might not always be the case as clearly Teak was suffering from severe depression to the point where he already decided that morning when he woke up that he was taking his own life before the day was done which is why he kept trying to get rid of Murda. That's why I ask because you said he left his favorite Bible verse as if he already decided that he was gonna take his life that day regardless due to depression even though he clearly has a loving wife and children. My condolences as well 🙏

@@lawrencelawrence8553 hello dear. I don't mind talking about it sometimes it helps me to actually talk about what happened. Similar to this scene. Gun shot to the head. I feel like he definitely decided the night before when he was writing his Bible verses down. I wish I could have been home at the time, maybe, just maybe I could've talked him out of it. But my mom always tell me it wasn't meant for me to be there. He walked in the house and told the kids he loved them and told them to tell me that he loved me and I was the best thing ever happened to him. They said he was crying, and he kissed our baby girl on the forehead and walked out the house. They knew something was wrong, they just didn't know what was about to happen. That day forever haunts me.

This is equally frustrating and heartbreaking. You can say EVERYTHING right. Everything that they are supposed to tell them. How you are you going to be there with them. How they are not alone. How you see a future for them. You can say all of that, and it still won’t be enough to keep them here. If someone truly wants to leave, they will. No matter what it is you say. The actors did an amazing job. I’m happy that the writers chose to not show the actual event or his body afterwards. It was brutal enough without it.

This is sad but for those in the comments talking about they contemplated it. Please keep that with yourself and your loved ones. KZbin shouldn’t even know that about ya, kinda looks like attention seeking stuff. I work in mental hospitals all my Life and the people who voice suicide or talk about it are usually attention seekers. Those who really want to do it will never share their plans because they actually wanna get thro their plan. They might leave a note and most of time They come off really normal or happy the day they plan to do it which is scary asf because it’s unsuspecting. They way this dude killed himself was impulsive but he wasn’t seeking attention as much as wanting to be alone and get thro his plan alone.

as someone who's lived with depression someone who's never been able to talk because everytime I do its considered negative or attention grabbing I feel like nobody has ever cared and I don't think I'll be around much longer because of it eating me and turns to anger makes me hate myself more and more everytime and I started watching this show idk why but it started getting serious and so realistic I started legit getting deep in it and this scene hurt me more than anything ive ever watched in my entire life because I know it sucks to be tired of being tired and I felt so bad for Lil murda but at the same time know exactly where big t was coming from regardless of someone sitting next to him crying telling him they see the light for him 💔

Sadly it’s a common thing for people that are locked up for so long and get out and having to red adjust. Imagine your old life being gone after doing time and not feeling like you’re able to re adapt. All those memories lost in a wondering river. This scene really emphasizes the necessity of mental health being focused on specifically for ex convicts.
