When she did the monologue about "where you gonna take me?", I believe LOTS of ppl within the LGBT can relate to that because we literally can not go too much places...without their being hate or worrying about assualt and harrassment. It made me tear up. I love when movie/tv shows have monologues like this because its the reality.

Mississippi and Louisiana aint that far off from one another so there's that. PValley is centered around Unk much more than True Blood was around Lafayette storyline.

Uncle Clifford had me feeling like I dun did him wrong with how he had Lil Murda instantly shrink back to Lamarcus? She does seem to care about others like Rayshun. I think they give her a hard time because of her LS privileges which is beyond her control.I think uncle Clifford is set in his ways. He should see that her LS might be the reason they get good money for that club.. I would be all for it. 😆 telling her her baby is dead was harsh af. Nobody knows if her baby is dead. Hailey is going to introduce a different perspective on things . I personally think colorism creates a false narrative. I have LS friends who don't all behave or have the same lifestyles. They are their own unique beings. I think uncle Clifford is a little envious of Hailey. Hailey is going to get tired of being kicked on. Uncle is just set in his ways and can be a bit rude but can also be compassionate as well. One thing we all have in common is humanity. I don't care for colorism at all but our society slaps 🇺🇸 us with it often.😆 that's just my take.

I really LOVE P-Valley! I love all of the characters ( except for Derek & Keyshawn's step mother!) The show came along when I was going through a really tough time and P-Valley helped to see me through the worst of it! I know it sounds silly but in some ways, I owe my life to this show!
