I have a 07 is350 and was hoping this kit would work but the car has a cylinder around the sensor and the wire is already pre bent on both sides of the car where the slit socket won't work.

It wouldn't work anyway. 2006 and newer vehicles have a system to defeat this. I forget the exact mechanism by which it does it, but it knows if you are doing this and will throw a code anyway.

I have p420 bank 1 , does that mean only i need one spacer upper right the catalyst filter? I have gs350 AWD

If I have both 420 and 430 codes do I need 2 spacer downstream ? Or do I put spacer in all of them ? Thanks for the tips

That’s both cats so yea need spacer on both.

I read somewhere that newer cars may be 2006 and newer(?) Have a system to detect this and it won't work.

It would put the ECU back into closed loop maps. When an O2 sensor triggers, it goes open loop so just runs base maps without optimizing for AF ratio and readings.
