What software is that you are using and is there somewhere to download it? I have 2005 MMT Corolla and it has red gear light on, sometimes goes to neutral and no codes. Wanted to do initialization to see if I can see the problem. Very awesome video. Is this Ukraine or Russia?

Hello Sir, really nice work, may I ask you something regarding a Toyota Yaris 2005 MMT gearbox ? I'm having issues with the 3rd gear, when the 3rd gear is engaged some weird noises can be herd and does not work under load, rest of the gears are working fine. Could be the gear actuator ? I was today at Toyota and they said that I need to replace clutch + ECU + actuators... way over 2.000 EUR not including the labor.

Look, it only mechanical problem with 3th gear inside the gearbox. If it was other problem with tcm or any actuators - will up the trouble code and the car will no drive. So you need to open gearbox and repair it, may be will need to change gears of 3th and yet components. Better way to find donor, it also can be not mmt - manual gearbox for 1.4 d4d from any toyota same year model.

I am in the middle of removing the gearbox actuator from my 2010 Yaris. I notice in your videos you remove the electrical sensor (27mm) and another 19mm plug prior to removing the 6 holding down bolts. I can locate the 27mm electrical sensor but not the 19mm plug do you know if there is one on this gearbox and if so where is it located.

Hello, I have a big problem with the Yaris 2007 MMT. After a longer drive, the N started flashing and stopped shifting. After 3 months in the service, I bought a new actuator, clutch, box computer. The procedure was tried from the computer, but it did not work with the computer. I managed manually with a strap in pins 4/13 N++++EN then N----EN then N+-+-EN , it worked, after 3000 km it started to jump out of gear and flash N . I set myself up as a craftsman and tried the Learning Mode procedure, the one above. N has disappeared, I don't know what to do to at least make it go like before, even if it jumps out of gear. Please give me some advice, the car doesn't move, N has disappeared.

Hola. Está claro que el problema es de la caja de cambios, no de la dirección. No pueden ofrecer la reparación de la caja de cambios porque no saben cómo hacerlo y cuál es exactamente el problema. 3 things that go wrong with this gearbox 1. If your lucky its only the clutch that needs replacing. Make sure its the semi manual clutch and not manual clutch that is installed €800 give or take including labour and vat. 2. Release bearing actuator. €992 ex vat for part from Toyota. 3. Gear change actuator. €1174 ex vat for part from Toyota. My Yaris is a 2011 model with 50000 km on it, had same problem going into neutral while driving without any warning. Had a friend who's a mechanic come over and he plugged his diagnostic equipment up to it, came back as actuator fault. He was able to activate the actuator without the engine on to change the gears and you could hear grinding coming from the actuator. Obviously the gear had failed and lost a few teeth. Of course mine was number 3 on the list and most expensive to rectify. Moral of the story is these mmt gearboxes are pieces of shit which Toyota were quick to discontinue after only 5 yrs in service, no doubt due to warranty recalls....

@@vak_service no he have no error code's, his riding fine but when i want to stop at end he is shaking very little bit, almost the same as hand shift cars when clutch slipt but not as bad as they do. And he's shifting too quickly, for exampl in +/_ 100meter he's shifting to 3 or 4th gear at 40 kilometer per hour!! Thanks (i saw the video) 👍🏻👍🏻

@@vak_service i've sorted it , ecu wasn't controlling the actuator. ecu replaced, new clutch actuator motor (brushes were gone), adjustment, re learn and now all works fine. oil refilled but drained only about 1.6L and up to refill overflow 2.4 l came in, that what bothers me.
