Calculator always rationalizes automatically a value . If u see original value of sin45 or cos45 that is 1/2½ the calculator will give u 2½/2 . So u see that the value differs from its original value. And for tan30 which is 1/3½ the calculator will again give a different value (3½/3)

In p1 we are allowed calculator, so why does it matter if we have memorized the table or not.

Please watch all the A levels p1 videos. They are completely in line with add maths syllabus. Only exceptions are differentiation and integration.
