Sorry but these folks aren’t Hmong. I feel like the Hmong people want to have some sort of history that we try to adopt Chinese history as our history.

You sound pretty stupid to be honest. How are you, someone who is a wanderer in America thinking you know what makes a Hmong person? If you had at least a bit of knowledge about Hmong History, you would know that Hmong are from China; therefore, Hmong are Chinese in origin. What are we? Laotian? Thai? Vietnam? We are as Chinese as every other Chinese ethnic groups in China. I don't think you even know anything about Hmong people. Your feeling does not equal the fact. How are you going to call them that they are not Hmong when you don't even provide any reasoning. Your last name Vang is simply the Hmong pronunciation of Wang. Where do you think Vang came from? If you had at least an ounce of knowledge about Hmong history, you would know that this group of Hmong is closer to the most original Hmong.... their language still consist of many words we use in rituals. Maybe you should do some research.

Even though you can't fully understand what they are saying, but once you see the way the live their lives, their actual local clothes, not these fake tourist rentals, you see their faces, you start to realize, wait these people are Hmong
