Great stint mate! Very unfortunate some people not checking who's behind them at all, so you have to surprise them. Hope to see in finale Nov 23rd. @karting4u Can you please share what kind of phone mount you use to attach the phone to the steering wheel and how hard it is to remove on the pitstop? Also what tracking app? And do you use any GPS signal booster or just the phone's GPS is enough for you?

We actually designed our own 3D printed phone mount that fits perfectly on the Sodi F1 steering wheel and can be attached/removed very quickly using a single rubber band. The phone mount also provides space for a Racebox micro + 9V battery to provide very accurate GPS. We then use Racebox App on the smartphone. We went through a couple of iterations but the one in the video works perfectly. Next step is to adapt the phone mount so it also works on the Sodi SR4/5 steering wheel which is ticker.

@@karting4u Wow that's a winner's approach here ;) Thanks for the detailed replies! Do you already sell the patented design files to print this mount? :) Or secrets are not to share? :)

@@karting4u it's a long way from me but if i ever get over that way I might. Every track I've been on in rental karts I could drive the whole track without lifting at all, atlanta motorsports park is fun but racing average people who aren't racers is boring because they're literally braking for turns when I'm holding it wide. The tracks over there seem tighter though so idk if you can do that on them or not

@@HeavyK_MXB Sorry but I think you seriously underestimate the level of rental karting endurance races here in Europe. There are many pro level teams that can easily compete against professional 2 stroke karting drivers. Actually for the big rental endurance races (4h, 6h, 8h, 24h) we see many of those 2 stroke drivers compete as well so the level is really high. At the specific race in this video the top teams were not present but they will be for the next race on Nov 23 (final of the championship). As for your question: this tracks has 5 important braking points and requires controlled trailbraking to get the best lap time. The karts are 390cc so even if not fast compared to 2 stroke, still fast enough to require controlled braking for key corners. And the 1'09'798 lap in this video is within 2-3 tenths of the track record with this kind of karts so you'll need to be Max Verstappen level of karting if you want to take me to Gapplebees 😂

is this like something anyone can sign up for with rental karts?
