P1P Stepper motor swap....kinda

Mine has been fantastic, I enclosed it myself and it has been pumping out ASA like a champ. Also I completely agree with you about Bambu support in Australia, they got back to me within 24 hours and were extremely helpful.

Great to hear 👍 Did you go with the vison? what did you think of it? I figure if that's the worst problem ive had over 3 machines with thousands of hours of print time that's bloody good in my books! I think in other places their regulation regarding warrantee etc isn't as good as in AU.

@@Defyant123 I went with the minimal enclosure by suit on printables so I could use the X1C glass door and top and overall I liked it's design better. I did change a few things on it compared to his tho. I used aluminium sheet for the sides with the outside painted black one inside polished to help reflect light/ heat and double sided tape to hold them on. I also made some side brackets for the top and used some gaskets of one of the riser designs. Only thing I don't like about it is the upper rear panel pieces need to have about 3mm more depth because the glass lid sits on top of the front panel a little bit, I just used the gaskets to fill the gap. I've seen you on FB before, I can send you a pic of it if you like

Interesting, I bought the P1P in June when they lowered the price, it came with ball bearings on the lead screws - no bushings. So I guess it's kind of a P1P 1.5
