Hashim is in exquisite form. I think people must understand that Hashim has been debating Christians for a long time and he may struggle with patience here and there because he is constantly teaching them about their own books and calling them to understanding. Hashim is alone in this debate against 3 people at one point. 4 in total. were involved throughout this discussion and Hashim demonstrated good patience considering. I think it is wise for Christians to take a good, long and hard think about their scriptures. I'm not asking you to abandon your scriptures, just to think objectively. Jazak Allahu Khair

@linkup901ify7 жыл бұрын
Completely refuted? Oh this is going to be good. Let's see you refute just one argument from Hashim from this video. "I've heard a number of people answer their questions. They just didn't like the answers." This doesn't mean the argument was refuted, it just means you listened to something and decided it was true. Also the website is blocked.
@linkup901ify7 жыл бұрын
I didn't ask for your opinion on what you think the debates at the park are. Also didn't ask for your opinion of what you think of the Ehrmanproject stuff. I'm asking, since you have seen complete refutations of many of the arguments in this video/park by those three then provide that refutation(s), in this case I'm only asking for refutation for one argument that Hashim makes in this video. When I Google Ehrmanproject all I get is people saying it's the exactly opposite of "Real scholarship" on these issues like here www.skepticink.com/reasonablyfaithless/2014/03/18/what-happened-to-the-ehrman-project/ and here evangelicaltextualcriticism.blogspot.se/2011/01/ehrman-project.html So maybe you can copy and paste a refutation because when I watch videos like Evans vs Ehrman and listen closely for answers to Ehrman's question it turns out Evan doesn't want to directly answer questions. I'm talking about this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4O0aoqXraqdrMU, especially part 8 & 9 where Evan ignores the question of why it matters as if it was a historical question being asked complete with a short Bible history when in reality it's a question about if your belief matters. Even worse Evan says it doesn't matter at one point. So to say the least I'm very interested to hear/see rebuttal to the arguments Ehrman and the various Muslims put forward, because so far it's been lots of red herring and little else.
@linkup901ify7 жыл бұрын
I asked for something pretty simple. "Let's see you refute just one argument from Hashim from this video." Of which you did not do, you simply went on about Ehrman project talking it up as if that was at all relevant. I asked for a refutation, not your opinion on how good you think this project is. Oh a list, now why don't you pick one of those refutations and match it to what Hashim has said to show us this complete refutations you claimed. I just watch the "who wrote the Gospels?" and it's red herrings left and right. Kruger goes "Is that a concern? Actually not"...okay? how does that show us who wrote the Gospel and how does that answer mainstream/Bart's arguments about the reliability of the Bible? Also didn't ask for your opinion on whether Bart is wealthy or not atheist or not so let's just stick to the actual argument. Nobody said to do it today, but considering you have the sources it shouldn't take much time at all to show us this complete refutation. "But for now, some of us actually have to work..... For a living, so I'll talk to you later my friend." Okayyyy...I have no need to drop myself down to this level. Maybe come back once you learned not to imply bad things about strangers on the internet? Seriously, if the conversation emotionally bugs you that much then take a breather as long as you like.

Jazakom Allah Khayran. That Arab guy lied regarding the companion Abdullah ibn Abi As-Sarh (RA). There were 2 men who used to write Quran and then became apostates at the time of prophet Mohammad Peace be upon him. The 1st one is the companion (Sahabi) Abdullah ibn Abi As-Sarh (RA) who became apostate then reverted to Islam again on Fat-h Mecca. He wasn't the one who used to try to corrupt the Quran. The other guy who became apostate who was trying to corrupt Quran, was another guy. He was a Christian before, then became a Muslim, then became a Christian again and died on that. Just to make things clear.

“Go to the Vatican Library today and look at the oldest manuscript that we have of the New Testament, which is known as the Codex Vaticanus’, and was probably one of the bibles commissioned by Constantine. Another one to look at is in the British Library called codex Sinaiticus’ which was discovered in Mount Sinai at St. Catherine’s Monastery. Look at those two texts, both from the 4TH century, and try to find the famous story of Jesus rescuing the lady who is being stoned for adultery in John’s Gospel Chapter 8. It is a very powerful story, but it is not contained in either of those manuscripts, which means that story was inserted into the text of the New Testament for the first time at least as late as the 4th century if not later. I can give you a hundred other examples.”

The likeness of Jesus in God's sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, "Be," and he was. 60. The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt. 61. And if anyone disputes with you about him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, "Come, let us call our children and your children, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and let us invoke God's curse on the liars." 62. This is the narrative of truth: there is no god but God. God is the Mighty, the Wise. 63. But if they turn away-God knows the corrupt. 64. Say, "O People of the Book, come to terms common between us and you: that we worship none but God, and that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords besides God." And if they turn away, say, "Bear witness that we have submitted." 65. O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, when the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Will you not reason?

Part: 3/4 ‘God raised up his servant’ (Acts 3:26) When faced by opposition from the authorities, Peter said ‘We must obey God rather than men! The God of our fathers raised Jesus’ (Acts 5:29-30) The disciples prayed to God just as they were commanded by Jesus in Luke 11:2, and considered Jesus to be God’s servant. ‘they raised their voices together in prayer to God. ‘Sovereign Lord,’ they said, ‘you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.’ (Acts 4:24) ‘your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.’ (Acts 4:27) ‘of Your holy servant Jesus.’ (Acts 4:30) ‘I am indeed a servant of God.’ (Quran 19:30) The Bible says that Jesus was God’s servant ‘Behold, My servant, whom I have chosen, in whom My soul is well pleased.’ (Matt 12:18) Since Jesus is God’s servant, Jesus can not be God. The Bible says that Jesus could not do anything by himself ‘The son can do nothing by himself; he can only do what he sees his Father doing.’ (John 5:19) ‘I can of mine own self do nothing.’ (John 5:30) The Bible says that Jesus did not consider himself equal with God and that God performed miracles through Jesus & Jesus was limited in what he could do: ‘But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.’ (Matt. 9:8) ‘a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst.’ (Acts 2:22) ‘he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.’ (Acts 10:38) If Christ was God, the Bible would simply say that Jesus did the miracles himself without making reference to God. The fact that it was God supplying the power for the miracles shows that God is greater than Jesus. Also, Jesus was limited in performing miracles One time when Jesus tried to heal a blind man, the man was not healed after the first attempt, and Jesus had to try a second time (Mark 8:22-26). Once a woman was healed of her incurable bleeding. The woman came up behind him and touched his cloak, and she was immediately healed. But Jesus had no idea who touched him: ‘At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, ‘Who touched my clothes?’ (Mark 5:30) ‘He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.’ (Mark 6:5) Quite obviously, someone with such limitations can not be God. The power of miracles was not within Jesus. The Bible says that at times of weakness angels strengthened Jesus God ,however, does not need to be strengthened. Human need to be strengthened; God does not because God is All-Powerful. If Jesus had to be strengthened, he must not be God. ‘An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him - in the garden of Gethsemane’ (Luke 22:43) ‘Then the devil left him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him’ (Mark. 1:13) ‘And he was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts, and the angels were ministering to him.’ (Mark 1:13) The Bible says that Jesus wanted God’s will to be done ‘not my will but Yours be done.’ (Luke 22:42) ‘I do not seek my own will, but the will of Him who sent me.’ (John 5:30) ‘For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.’ (John 6:38) Are some members of the coequal Trinity subservient, and less than equal, to other members? Even though they have different wills (‘I do not seek my own will’), do they obey without question the others’ commands (‘the will of Him who sent me’)? Jesus admits to subordinating his own distinct will, yet according to the Trinitarian doctrine they should all have the same will. Should one of the triune partners have to forgo his own will in favor of the will of another member of the Trinity? Should not they all have the exact same will?
