Man I love my P320, I have been working on improving my grip, the index under the trigger guard placement is what I have been missing, thanks guys !!

This video really helped me out. My grip was wrong and my slide would not stay open when the mag was empty because my hand was interfering. This grip helped me align faster and get my grip right. Thank you.

The last Sig I would like is the X5, and it gets more and more tempting to trade my Glocks to get it, it is a thought right now. I have the XCarry and XCompact.

Just picked up the Xcarry in coyote. I've owned another P320 before and shot naturally very well with it. Can't wait to get it out to the range.

Well done! I recently took my Sig P320 through its first training session. I believe my trouble was the trigger finger placement. I also just bought a Sig p365; it certainly is different! I think I'm going to really like it though.
@KimTownsel5 жыл бұрын
Even though my trigger finger placement wasn't where I would have liked it to have been for the training, I still shot a perfect score for the qualifying round. Hoping I made Sig proud! 😁 That video is up on my KZbin channel.

I love the ergonomics of the M17/M18. Sig Sauer absolutely applied modern pistol grip techniques in their design and makes it easy to learn to shoot. To further improve recoil control place your takedown level with a low profile gas pedal. Keeps support hand placement consistent and of course helps reduce muzzle flip.

How do I prevent from gripping with my strong/shooting hand to strong? Under stress I tend to hold too strong with the shooting hand instead of with the support hand
@RWMAirgunsmithing3 жыл бұрын
you need to train and develop the good habits before you can test yourself under stress. Dont beat yourself up about it. There is no 1 rule for support grip vs strong hand grip. you need to apply the fundamentals and then feel what works for you. Try picturing a nutcracker : your fingers are the pivot point and must be securely locked, then when you push out with your elbows horizontal, your palms become the teeth of the nutcracker and your arms are the handles/leverage. When you push forward from thumb/pectoral position you squeeze the handle leaving your trigger finger free to move

Please explain traction on the grip.
@RWMAirgunsmithing3 жыл бұрын
It is all about surface area, the more skin you can press down on the grip = more friction = better handling. Its just basic laws of physics. Similar to having a big truck with skinny tires, you wont have good traction on the road because of reduced surface area. like at 1:20 he demonstrates leaving space so you can cover it with support hand.
