P3Dv4+ Air Tractor AT-802F(2) Demo

This is a preview demo of the AT-802F pack in development for P3Dv4+ based off of the freeware FSN AT-802A and 802A Amphibian. The package will add numerous quality of life updates, including modeling updates, PBR, 4K textures, paint kits, liveries, and 2 new models. For a total of 4 models. Those including the conventional gear version as well as the amphibian "Fire Boss" versions in both their single and newly added twin seat versions. Seen here as the conventional gear version 2-seater. The aircraft will have updated flight dynamics and sounds. The flight dynamics were updated to better represent the 802, as well as being updated to perform more similarly to the later version of the 802Fs known as, "Super SEATs." Which are equipped with a more powerful variant of the Pratt & Whitney PT-6 turbine engine, which are rated at 1600shp. Although the updated versions of the 802 range between 1200-1600shp depending on the factory option. The version created here now performs similar to those rather than earlier 700shp versions like the original aircraft performed like.

FSN's original AT-802s have been available for FS9 and FSX for quite some time. This was created to take advantage of all the advancement and features of P3D over the FSX versions. FSN's 802s can be found on a variety of websites including Simviation and a number of others.

@@Adriatic1290 Unfortunately, we did test the non-pbr version in FSX. Or attempted to. Upon conversion with FSX's SDK there were significant display errors caused between it and the 3 prototypes we tried and the modeling software. So an FSX version had to be abandoned. The best we could figure it there is something there that FSX cannot compute or display properly. Unfortunately the growing limitation of FSX approaching 20 years old. Maybe if something can be figured out at some point, but unfortunately it wont be at the current time.
