And what a creep he is with the girls... Honestly it tracks to me, I'm about 99% sure that a massive share of the root causes of homophobia maybe even moreso than even religion comes from men that for whatever reason have grown to objectify women and generally being creeps, suddenly intimidated by the prospect that the unwanted harassment they've normalized may suddenly be reflected back on them. They find out dude is gay, therefore dude might be into them, they know how they treat women they're into and curiously suddenly they don't want anything to deal with it if they have to be the one on the receiving end of it. Basically, homophobic by default because as much as they can dish it, they can't even take the thought of maybe possibly having to take it themselves.
