Just picking up the game after playing P4G, Chie was one of my favorite characters bar her English voice acting being pretty loud. She's exactly as I expected and coincidencally is my favorite archetype to play in most fighting games so this will definitely help out!

Typo at 8:05, you list 5AAA > 236B~>B > 5C > 2C Dash > 5B > 5B > 2B > 2AB, but there's 2 5B's there when the video shows 5B > 5C instead. Minor typo though, video is still good.

Yup definitely a weakness. But her large health gives you plenty of chances to make mistakes getting in and once you do land a few hits, zoners tend to have lower health making them die quicker.

@@pabloosuna4031 Personally, I think tier lists are over-relied on. She has all the tools to be an effective rush down character, it's really a matter of knowing how to play against her weaknesses. There aren't many matchups that are specifically more impossible for her than other characters. The game generally has a tight window of character viability though with only a few characters being considered generally bad.

Minazuki next but Junpei sometime after that probably. Junpei’s a bit trickier since the best usage of that character is a bit more advanced.

Do you know what an instant Skull Cracker is? Dustloop mentions it a couple times as a combo starter but doesn't mention how to do it.

Im gonna cover it more in depth in the advanced guide since it’s a bit hard to explain but I’ll try. You need to jump and do SB Rampage near the ground which essentially cancels out the animation but pressing 236B when you land still makes the Skullcracker come out for an instant overhead.

Are you doing something to correctly time the safe jump after sweep, or is it just a manual jump after the sweep finishes?

I manually time safe jumps in most games cause I’m a weirdo (I end up mistiming a lot 😅) I’m not sure if Chie has any attacks you can press before jumping to have it be auto-timed but check out the P4AU fight club discord and ask there. They may have something helpful

They're numerals meant to represent a direction 7 8 9 4 5 6 1 2 3 So Chie's hurculean strike is quarter circle back A or B so it would be 214 A/B
