"Don't call her, stop stalking her Facebook, it only makes the healing process longer!"
@KyleNoelMusic

Not a day went by in my childhood that my skin was not decorated with scabs of honor and glory. I was proud that i played hard. I wore wounds like badges at a military banquet. Proved that i was a real boy was the marks on my face and nose from diving head first into pavements that hit back harder than the truth. On the first day of school, I ain't know which to show off first: my new shoes or the skin peeling on the back of my leg from last week's bicycle accident. And i couldn't wait for it to scab over so i could pick at it yeah, I'm one of those people. But i don't eat them, that's gross I'm not one of those people. I was fascinated by my body's ability to make itself whole again whenever a piece of it left. Every neighborhood I lived in I literally left pieces of me in the streets and the yards. I'd come home, stumble into the bathroom, pull up a chair. My mom would pour two shots of alcohol onto the gash. I couldn't tell y'all which hurt worse: the fall or the alcohol. But at least I loved the way it sizzled on my skin but still stung. My mom smiled. "Maybe next time you'll be more careful." "Maybe next time, mom. You'll buy the band aids with the ninja turtles on them because these plain brown ones are boring. Maybe get x-men. Wolverine's mutant powers can help me heal faster than the average human." She told me, "Don't pick at it. It only makes the healing process longer." Don't call her. Stop stalking her Facebook, it only makes the healing process longer. Funny, I grew up and still tried to use alcohol to clean my wounds, this time in effort to take away the sting. One time I fell in love. Okay, two times I fell in love. Okay, thre- I couldn't tell y'all which hurt worse: the falls or the alcohol. But at least I loved the way she sizzled on my skin but still stung. My mom smiled, "Maybe next time you'll be more careful, be more prayerful." "MOM I'VE BEEN MO- okay I'm not raising my voice, Mom. I'm not raising my voice. I'm just scared to scare again. I'm afraid they'll laugh at the way I bleed." Fearful to commit to love. You know there's layers to this, right? And the fastest way to grow tough skin is to get burned. But scars is what makes us human. Scars is what makes us human. Scars is what made God human. Jesus. After all the pain and rejection, still the only thing He couldn't commit to was a grave. Yo, wear those scars. Wear those scars like a new necklace on Easter. Show them this is what real resurrection looks like. No fear in love. No shame and rejection.

Funny to bump with this, just yesterday I humbly admit to God that I was scared to hurt again. To get burn again. To feel the pain of loving. And here I am, finding myself watching this. Thank you 😀

So I'm amazed cuz I wrote a poem bout my amazement of how my body heals from injuries and how I should use that in life to prove that I can survive trials, so it's good to hear the essence of that poem in spoken word form. Thank you.

I've always wanted to say or comment this even on Chase God TV channel videos... Why do I think the old Joseph Solomon outfits/swagger is most fresh, when he always had matching colored snapbacks & clothing hahaha. I thought that was the signature & the bald haircut lol. But, not saying anything or imposing. I'm aware of the "Standing Tall" poem lol. But, this is super good!!! As always!!! Like, anotha good chase God tv webisode. #fire #barz

So lets talk about that All lives matter sign in the back what is that about i need answers
@P4CM
@P4CM 7 жыл бұрын
Ashley Gantt There were several signs, including a Black Lives Matter. The onstage audience had just finished a "protest", and that young lady's sign is the only one sitting upright in camera view. The point was to display all of the issues that society is campaigning for or against. P4CM is not making an "All Lives Matter" statement. Hopefully this helps clarify things for you.
