This is so great and timely. Admittedly, I've begun to lose the expectation that followers of Christ should be THE most creative people alive. I'm getting to the point where I expect mediocrity and dim reflections of the world's creativity vs. much that reflects our Father's supernatural imagination. That sucks. It's encouraging to hear someone expecting & calling forth more from the Church; not in comparison to the world but in worship of God and in trusting the Holy Spirit to guide us to the heights of a city placed upon a hill.

Word this is a runway to heaven we why ain't flying... Just stuck down in our current position because we are scared to make mistakes... Sometime it's just those simple mistakes we make is what creates and motivates us to be be creative in stepping to higher places where god wants us to be... So imma be too anxious and yh too creative.

He's talking about how people are saying that his poetry is too creative.. that is just to cover up the fact that they dont want him to express what God has blessed him with because they are really afraid to be called into this same type of understanding or perhaps expression. I took this poem as this.. God has blessed him with creativity spite his fear, and they are afraid too but rather complain to him he's 'too creative' than get with the creator and get creative too.

0:54 Interesting reference to "marred in the potter's hands" (Jeremiah 18:1-6). Did you know that Romans 9:11-23 uses this metaphor again, also stating "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated" from before they were even in the womb? This from an all-loving god. 3:57 "The cost of one of these spotlights could have fed an entire country" and some in the crowd go "Woo!" and stand and smile and wave. The church: force for good?

back in the 60's, poets would snap their fingers so as not 2 interrupt the poet, and since we still snap our fingers, especially when we agree with a line, verse or da whole poem in general. I love the respect of finger snappin without interruptin da poet
