The wire might grow there a tiny bit But it wont work unless I fully focus on it My aquatic hasting is okish but happens only every 4/5 seconds - Not enough for a wire gameplay!

Played fishing net starting item yesterday, quickly got it to diamond and was popping diamond piranhas each day, along with 400 heal 300 shield enchanted diamond Ambergris, and I can say - fishing net is not the worst starting item at all, build is quite viable even in the current burst meta.

Existing ones do not upgrade, you just get new ones of higher tier

it's definitely worse start except cutlass. there are no good pivots with it right now. shipreck is rare and it is kinda trash tier in comparison to crow nest+flagship or port+muti dagger ammo builds or Frost potion perma freeze builds.

The main problem with it is: You are doomed to do that one thing - No other ins or outs - You comitted you go all the way! (might get an early port and could save up for a pivot)

@@P4wnyhof that is not true, if you play docklines+fishing net, you can play slow builds but slow builds suck. Tropical island is too weak because most of the builds 1 shot you. who cares if you get 500 health regen if you die before regen kick in. Lighthouse is other item where if you slow, you burn. the burn is too little to matter. It has pivots but those pivots suck and than your looking for astrolobe or captain wheel for haste slow items. the last pivot is shipwreck but shipwreck isn't good enough and is very rare. you can only make this build work with Shiny shipwreck for 3x muti-cast but that is INCREDIBLY rare. your fishing for diamond item and than hoping you get correct enchantment else you lose.

@@P4wnyhof so if you have Holster Diamond holster which in combat haste and old shiprwreck before they nerfed it to useless, you could do 1 shot people with pirana build. you do need stack a lot gumballs and get that 2% crit every fight increase but it was 1 shot build. this build sucks now.
