Currently running a similar build, but with a good razorplate. Some of my gear is crap, but I can run 100's pretty efficiently. Using Kalan's Edict for the minion attack speed and Black River for the CE punch instead of Blighted and shadowblight. Black River gives me 520%(x) when consuming 5 corpses, and I'm almost never out of corpses, so no need for blighted or worrying too much about minion attack speed.

Selig is pretty good on necro, especially at lower levels. The big problem with it is that it eats your essence. I had 70% essence generation and over pit level 55 or so, I couldn't generate enough essence to keep up with the damage mitigation. And at that point, I couldn't do any damage. Maybe it would work with fully masterworked gear, but I'm only level 8.

I really like the build, one point that I dont understand still..why not a sword for crit or anything but a shyste (not sure how to write that in english) u just got life on kill and for boss that's not really help...does I miss an important point?

ideal is Scythe for the mobs and switch to sword before boss fight

Scythe = Maximum Damage because the base damage is greater than the swords!

quick thought would it not be more efficient giving up ONE board and taking with the extra paragonpoints close and easy to reach Magic and Specialnodes? the amount should be worth more than the 1 extra rune?

I'm trying to implement harlequin into this somehow. Which aspect do you think can be swapped out? Frenzied dead if I can temper 100% attk?

@@jesseeckard5177 the only unique that worth it for a minion build is the cuirass for damage reduction and more resistance cap to push higher pit

how do you calc the attack speed? your attack speed + minions + frenzied should be 100%?

Does the shadowblight second modifier not work with blighted corpse explosion? They would deal 20% more damage. Does it really need to be the pool from shadowblight itself?

No it does not work - It does say blighted but it aint the same blight :D

Blizzard hates me and refuses to give me gear with any type of +% attack speed whether through drops or crafting. I have given up on it.

I feel like bloodmist is useless, it's not helping at all only to dodge skills that you can get damage reduction for instead. Your CDR is so high that you lose dps by going into bloodmist and not being able to cast golem and other skills while in bloodmist. I feel you'd be better off with a tank damage reduction skill or a healing skill in the place of a skill that reduces your overall casting abilities.

Sir there is no skill for the necromancer that would do that :) Blood Mist is the best option here also you never use it while golem is available.

Blood mist allows you to be close to your golem and proc Hellbent Commander.
